Every year we scout for the highest caliber graduates to join our Trading department. For our positions in Trading and Wholesale Trading we are looking for final-year students or recent graduates from an analytically related field of study such as Finance, Economics, Econometrics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Physics. A flair for numbers, a passion for financial markets and a hugely competitive streak are necessary.

We offer graduate positions in trading and Wholesale trading:
As a Trader you will immediately have a high responsibility level, trading your own book within 3 weeks. Initially, your role as a Trader is to price and trade financial options. You will build and maintain positions in derivatives and equities, exercise risk management and implement trading strategies.
As a Wholesale Trader you will be responsible for order flow in the professional market deriving from the various exchanges we trade on. Other than our screen traders, who trade directly on the exchange, you will trade directly and indirectly with hedge funds, pension funds, institutional investors and big banks, often through intermediates such as brokers.
Programma Inhousedag
Optiver is very pleased to welcome you on our in-house day at our Amsterdam office. During the in-house day we will elaborate more on our company and the working field of trading. We will discuss theories about options and we would like you to experience the risks and rewards of screen trading firsthand. A professional trader will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
