Who are we looking for?

Students in engineering who have completed their third or fourth year (course specialization is of less importance) that show initiative, international interest and eagerness to work.

Rotterdam (The Netherlands)
The internship’s duration is around 3 to 6 months and the period is flexible. The various areas in which you may work cover virtually all aspects of the engineering and the economist work: process simulation, safety studies, monitoring software, economic studies, etc.

As an intern within ExxonMobil you get a well defined task and will be coached by a dedicated ExxonMobil coordinator. The internship environment is young and dynamic and gives a clear image of a typical starting environment. Each internship tasks contributes to our business and will give you a ‘taste’ of a typical starting position within ExxonMobil.

Rotterdam Refinery:

Onderzoek naar de mogelijkheid om de warmte van een overhead stroom te gebruiken in de reboiler van een C3/C4 stripper.

Doorlichten van het safety/overdruk systeem van de raffinaderij, definieren van verbeteringsprojecten aan het systeem, onderzoeken op economische haalbaarheid en vervolgens implementeren van deze verbeteringen. <

Rotterdam Plasticizers and Intermediates Plant:

Inventarisatie van het koelwatersysteem en overige utilities door massabalansen op te stellen. Implementatie van uitkomsten en checks naar de economische haalbaarheid.

Rotterdam Aromatics Plant :

Onderzoek naar alternatieven voor benzeenemissiereductie op de oplagtanks.
