Meet McKinsey Breakfast – Experienced Professionals

Event description

This informal breakfast is an opportunity to mingle whilst getting the chance to meet with some of our inspirational colleagues and to find out more about McKinsey & Company Amsterdam and the work of our consultants. We would like to welcome you at our Amsterdam McKinsey Office on Friday June 2nd, 2023!

What to expect

We will speak about topics such as: career development, what a typical day looks like, how to manage work/life balance, flexibility at work and what to expect from joining our Firm as an Experienced Professional.

 

Who can apply?

 We welcome applications from Experienced Professionals, with work experience between 3 and 8 years, to apply. This event will be held in English.

Are you interested in strategic management consultancy and are you planning to complete your master's study within the next 18 months or are you recently graduated? We would like to invite you to a lunch to meet our colleges from Amsterdam. The next Meet McKinsey Lunch is scheduled on 21 June, 2023. 

What to expect

What to expect

 Along with other students, you will get the chance to ask any questions you may have about consulting and working at McKinsey in particular. During a Q&A session, consultants will tell you about the kind of projects they have been working on and why they chose to work at McKinsey.

 

Who can apply?

We welcome candidates who are planning to complete their master’s study within the next 18 months or are recently graduated. Please note: fluency in the Dutch language is required for this event.

  • Experience working in professional service environments especially management consulting or investment banking is highly preferred
  • Experience in managing teams of employees including analysts and/or associates specifically through an operational turnaround of significant step-change; direct operating experience with P&L accountability is highly preferred
  • Expertise in driving rapid and successful operational turnarounds and/or rapid growth programs across key strategic, revenue, cost and working capital levers
  • Robust understanding of financial and operational levers (e.g. business plan modeling, working capital management, financial statement analysis)
  • Strong problem solving skills and stakeholder engagement 
  • Track record of consistently delivering high-impact results to meet clients’ needs
