Event description

The Virtual McKinsey Experience is a sneak peek into McKinsey, our people and the way we solve complex problems. Guided by a team of consultants you will gain insights on how you can reach your full potential and how you can deepen your problem-solving skills. We will virtually host two half-day sessions. Will you join us on this Virtual journey?

What to expect

On November 19 and 20th, we will give you an insider’s look into strategy consulting and McKinsey. You will be coached on personal leadership qualities and work collaboratively with our consultants on a business case in small teams. While you solve a business case you will experience the key elements of consulting.

 

Who can apply? 

We welcome applications from candidates who are currently in the final stages of their studies (3rd yr Bsc and Msc). Please note that the event will be held in Dutch. 

 

 Application process 

- Apply by uploading your resume and transcripts (VWO and WO) and conducting our Digital assessment, Imbellus before Sunday November 8, 2020, 09:00.

After your application you will receive the Imbellus link within a day. Please note that this link is valid for a week. When planning your application, keep in mind that you have one week to finish the Imbellus assessment. *Please note all Imbellus test results should be in no later than Sunday November 8,2020. 

 

- Imbellus is an interactive game that helps showcase your problem-solving skills. You can find more information on our website.

 

- Based on your application and Imbellus results, we will select a group of candidates for this event. You will hear whether you have been successful in securing a seat on Wednesday November 11, 2020.

You’ll be working with McKinsey’s Operations practice in Europe. Our Operations practice assists our clients in solving complex operational challenges. Blending strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, our teams of consultants and experts work to develop and implement operational strategies that solve our clients' most critical problems.

Our Procurement group is part of our Operations practice, providing clients with support and advising their management teams on strategic and operational questions such as global sourcing, e-procurement, supplier development, and the formation of purchasing organizations.

You will be part of our Operations Excellence Program  (OEP), a two-year training program during which you will acquire the necessary knowledge to help companies achieve excellence in their operations. Along with other members of the OEP community, you will dedicate one day a week to functional training and knowledge development under the leadership of our operations experts
